This was the first time we had hiked Porcupine Ridge and it will become part of the regular rotation. The trail was challenging but fun with some amazing views.
West Wind Pass is a short hike but it's a steady climb to the pass where you get some great views to the Bow Valley to the north and the Spray Valley to the south.
Commonwealth Creek is a gentle hike although the soft snow made it a bit tougher going. We were the only people on the trail on one of the most majestic days ever.
Taylor Lake is a nice gradual ascent with limited views throughout the hike until you get to the lake where it opens up into a spectacular 180-degree panorama.
Castle Mountain Lookout is a short but steep hike that provides sweeping views across the valley. It is a Stairmaster grind at the top but worth the effort.
