Evan Thomas is a low elevation and somewhat leisurely jaunt other than some very tricky ares as you progress through the canyon at the end of the valley.
This was the earliest in the year we have done Wasootch but the lack of snow made for an enjoyable hike other than the treacherous icy climb up the first steep hill.
Commonwealth Creek is generally a fairly leisurely stroll however on this day we encountered waist deep snow in the valley, which made for a great workout.
We decided to veer off the West Wind Pass trail up Rimwall to get a taste of it. Given the snow that reached waist-deep, we only made it about half way up.
