Junction Lake Hike

This was my first time hiking in this area and there is some beautiful scenery.  We didn't make the lake as Craig decided to take us on a bit of an unplanned detour.

Iceland Hiking Trip

My belated (by three years) 60th birthday adventure was a fun six-day hike through the amazing scenery from the interior of Iceland to the coast.

Nihahi South Ridge Hike

This was my first jaunt up to the south peak of Nihahi Ridge and it was spectacular with the amazing 360 degree views and the fun scrambling.

Montreal Trip

Friends invited us to join them and four other couples for a fun-filled weekend staying in Old Montreal and attending the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix.

Headwall Lakes Hike

This was supposed to be a celebratory hike to Chester Lake for the 10 year passing of our buddy Binger but the trail was closed so we scooted up to Headwall Lakes.

Old Goat Glacier Hike

Old Goat Glacier is always a longer and tougher hike than memory serves me, however is it quite majestic and unique to be able to hike along the edge of a glacier.

Buller Pass Hike

Buller Pass is one of the most underrated hikes given the unique features throughout the hike and the above moderate challenge.

Spencer Creek Hike

Spencer Creek is always a fun 'moderate' hike yet a good workout with amazing views and especially on a sunny spring day.

Kelowna Four Peaks Hike

This was an idea that my daughter and I conjured up and we couldn't have asked for a better day and group of friends for this challenging but fun quad hike.

East End of Rundle Hike

This was my first time doing this trail and it exceeded expectations with its challenging terrain and amazing views throughout the hike.
