Wasootch Ridge Hike

Wasootch Ridge is on our regular rotation and it never disappoints with its unique trees, amazing 360 degree views and gut wrenching cardio workout.

South Lawson Peak

This was our first time doing South Lawson Peak and we all loved it for it's great workout and sweeping views of Kananaskis Country.

Grotto Mountain Hike

This was our first attempt at Grotto Mountain and we fell just short of the treeline despite gaining 950 meters of elevation which left 400 meters to the peak.

Exshaw Mountain Hike

This was our first time doing Exshaw Mountain and it provided some scenic views along with a short but challenging climb.

Loder Peak/Door Jamb hike

This was our fourth attempt to get to Loder Peak and a new unexpected snowfall once again thwarted our attempt at Door Jamb.

Evan-Thomas Creek Hike

Evan-Thomas is a gentle stroll other than the challenging climb through the canyon using chains to ascend and descend the initial mouth of the canyon.

Canyon Creek Ice Caves Hike

It was our first time doing this hike and we enjoyed a bluebird day but took a wrong turn up the first scree slope and missed getting to the cave.

Chester Lake Hike

Chester Lake and the Elephant Rocks never disappoints with the majestic beauty of the surrounding peaks and especially on a warm and sunny day.

Spencer Creek Snowshoe

Spencer Creek is always a fun outing but proved more challenging than usual with the fresh snow and only three of the seven of us had snowshoes to pack down the trail.

Ha Ling Peak Hike

Ha Ling is a popular hike close (15-minute drive) to Canmore.  On this bluebird day, we summitted Ha Ling and the adjacent Miners Peak.
